The WINDSTOPPER® 3-layer-laminate „Glacier“ is made out of a PTFE-membrane, which is sandwiched between two fleece layers. Outer-fleece, middle WINDSTOPPER® membrane, inner-fleece. „Glacier“ offers perfect protection from wind chilland icy temperatures. The ideal body temperature is retained and its breathable function is especially important for hard, physical work. Maximum comfort and unrestricted freedom of movement are guaranteed by a minimum of weight and thickness. In fair weather, you can protect yourself from the wind, which is important, as the wind lowers body temperature and with that your energy levels. GORE-TEX® membrane: waterproof and windproof due to the breathable membrane of the fine micro pores made of Polyetraflourethylen (PTFE). This is not a fabric in itself, but a very light, thin and hardwearing „functional layer“ which is processed together with a fabric. The GORE-TEX® membrane is worked into the jacket between outer layer and lining. It has a unique micro-porous structure made of the above mentioned materials.
